I've been a mother for nearly 9 years, been married twice, divorced once, in love, employed, unemployed, I've worn high heels and makeup, work boots and dirt, but somehow it's taken till now to really say I'm ok with myself, and instead of feeling like a "kid" or a "girl" I feel like an adult woman.

I have hobbies, a job (that I hate), a family and a life that I love.

I feel very well rounded lately, like things are balanced for the first time in a way where I don't have to panic. Like things actually are ok, instead of "will be ok".

I think this state of nirvana, might actually BE ok.

I didn't think it really would "be ok someday".

But you guys said it would, and you were right.

Thanks for sticking by me.

Now time to make the soup and drink the wine, and hug my babies, and edit pictures of my garden.

My current project was sunflowers because they sprout well from seeds (in this climate anyway) and they get to be about 7ft tall.




The husband in the picture is 6'4 and the baby is about 3ft tall.

Photography, cooking, baking, and writing top the list of my other major hobbies. along with drinking red wine and pretending to be a snob about it, and pole dancing.

That Sunflower is looking very much like a triffid. What a neat hobby! Tina just moved in and has had a garden in my backyard all summer, she grows tomatoes, cherries and peppers.

My hobbies, comic books, photography, blogging, aerial dance, burlesque, lyra, team trivia, bocce, reading and costumes. I just started taking pole! I got a groupon type deal and took an intro, then my teacher told me I was looking bored, so I jumped up to level two! Except for me being too slippery, it is super fun!
