So much realism! I felt frustrated that Madelynn was stuck in perpetual adolescence, but also boggled that Gloria felt that Madelynn owed it to her (rather than herself) to grow up. But then her announcement changed everything.
When you're irked by or rooting for characters, you know they've achieved realism. :)
