I'm still stuck on the concept of an 8-year-old with a bra being a peer-pressure thing now. Too much media influence! But not enough people are willing to limit kids' media. (Just wanted to be clear that I'm talking about other parents here. These culture-bombs always arrive on the basis of "what everyone else is doing.") :(
What a nice thing to do with some of that unexpected money, though. For the single moms, you must have a very clear idea of how hard that struggle can sometimes be. Extra grocery/utility bill/car repair money can make such a huge difference. :)
